Use to
Cyclic Trimethylolpropane Formaldehyde(referred to as CTF) has the chemical name of 5-ethyl-1,3-dioxane-5-methanolwith a CAS number of 5187-23-5. It is a monocyclic monohydric alcohol, which is a colorless liquid with slight odor and superior properties. It is suitable for producing radiation-cured monomer esters, and is a monofunctional reactivediluent with low shrinkage and good reactivity. It can be used to prepareacrylic monomer alcohols with low odor and high glass transition temperature. After being esterified with acrylic acid, CTF has advantages such as low viscosity, low odor, high reactivity, and excellent adhesion compared with traditional monofunctional acrylic monomers. It can increase the curing speedand hardness of coatings used for plastics, ceramics, metals, and other hard substrates through better adhesion. CTF is also suitable for use as a lubricantadditive, cutting fluid additive, high-boiling solvent, and chemical building material.
